Martino Scovacricchi

Hi 👋,

I have been playing the saxophone for 26 years.

I spent my teenage years practicing more than going out with my friends (sad and nerdy, I know). Playing music became a true passion very early on, and I became obsessed with refining my playing down to the smallest details.

After graduating with honors from the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Turin, I already had more than 7 years' worth of heavy-duty practice under my belt. I then came to London (thanks to the CRT Master dei Talenti Scholarship) to further my studies at the Royal Academy of Music, and that's where things really started to change.

I was surrounded by masterful players who, like me, practiced more than going out ahaha.

I realized I was not crazy, and my musical peers were even more perfectionistic than me. I gained an incredible amount of knowledge by being immersed in a high-level musical environment, being able to breathe and absorb music from the moment I woke up to the moment I went to bed at night.

Then, I spent 2 years at Berklee College of Music, which was the big kick I needed to truly grow as a saxophonist and musician.

At Berklee, not only did I have the opportunity to attend masterclasses from the likes of Paul Simon, Benny Golson, and Joe Lovano, but my playing went through a transformation as I was in the process of switching from classical to jazz playing.

I'm thankful to all the teachers I've had over the years. Regardless of the instrument I took lessons on (yes, I also have a degree in cello performance), all my teachers were the best teacher training school I could have possibly wished for.

Since I was 15, I have always known that teaching was going to be a big part of my career. Since founding the London Saxophone School in 2013, I have had the chance to meet wonderful students of all ages and abilities, direct ensembles and groups, and host masterclasses with the likes of Eric Marienthal, Bob Reynolds, and Krist Urbanski.

I have taught 15,000 students so far who, unconsciously, have helped me develop effective methods to bring a student's skillset forward quickly and efficiently.

Saxophone Artistry is the culmination of everything I have developed so far and prepared for my students, and I know that it will be a life-changing experience for you.

You'll look back, saying to yourself, 'How did I not do this before?

I look forward to working with you.

- Martino

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this mentorship program for

This is ideal for saxophone players who are serious about making progress — whether you're stuck in a rut, self-taught and hitting a plateau, or just ready to sound more confident and expressive.

How is this different from private lessons?

Private lessons are great — you show up, get some feedback, and go home.

But if you really want to grow, you need more than that.

This mentorship gives you a full system, clear goals, structured progression, and ongoing support between sessions.

I’m here to guide you thoroughly — so if something’s off, we catch it early and shift direction right away.

You’re not left guessing or waiting a week to fix things — and that means faster, more consistent progress.

This is where real development happens.

What kind of results can I expect?

You’ll build better tone, timing, confidence, and control — and start sounding like the player you want to be. Many past students have seen breakthroughs within weeks, not years.

Would you like me to be at an advanced level to join?

Not at all. You just need a basic foundation and the drive to improve. I’ll meet you where you’re at, and help you move forward step-by-step.

Is there a money-back guarantee?

I offer a call before enrolling to make sure we’re the right fit — so no one joins blindly. Once inside, I'm fully committed to your success and expect the same from you.

How do I apply or join the program?

Click the “Apply Now” button and book a free call. We’ll chat about where you are, where you want to go, and whether this mentorship is the right path for you.
